Digitalization & Operation IT Specialist

1. IT & Software Solutions for the Production
– Work with different functions to receive demands for IT & software solutions for the production on site
– Responsible for coordination of the conceptualization, development, implementation, roll-out and operation of IT and software solutions at different functions
– Work closely between offshore software development team and end users during the development and trial phase to ensure the solutions are realistic and can solve daily business pain points
– Priorities the IT & software solutions development based on the demand from end users in alignment with the regional / plant digitalization roadmaps
– Coordinator of IT demands regarding Operations IT on site
2. Digital solutions roll-out and IT Operation
– Responsible for rolling out of digital solutions on the shopfloor. Carry out training for shopfloor end users to ensure digital solutions are applied in the daily operations to support the business development in a positive and innovative way
– Multiplier for the Digitalization strategy for Operations and its sub functions at the production site down to individual employee level
– Central contact person and communicator for all digital solutions within plant. Collaborate with related functions/experts to troubleshoot and fix on time when having issues to make sure the business is not interrupted and avoid downtime
3. Data analytics initiation and coordination
– Initiate the data analytics topics in different functions based on the need of data analysis to figure out the bottleneck, abnormalities, or failures to predict and suggest predictive actions
– Work with data visualization, dashboard creation and relevant data analytics platform
– Execution of data analytics topics in the areas of production, quality, maintenance, tooling

– Bachelor or master’s in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Technology, Automation, or other related fields
– Relevant working experience (minimum of 3 years) in the field of software business analyst, software solution development
– Programming skills preferred (HTML, Java, JavaScript, or other programming language)
– Having knowledge about data analytics in business, production
– Experience in the industrial production, lean manufacturing would be preferred
– Experience as project manager or project coordinators
– Strong teamwork skills. Ability to coordinate and facilitate project team to successfully deliver project on time with good results
– Very strong communication skills and competence to handle the communication with different levels (from shopfloor operators to management board) and cross functions to well deliver projects / solutions
– Ability to work with different functions (production, planning, lean, logistic, …) to understand the demand of digitalization to improve/optimize daily operations and transfer it to technical concepts, requirements
– High conceptualization skills as well as the ability to quickly understand and present complex issues to end users with daily language to easily understand
– Strong technical understanding (IT infrastructure, solution architect, connectivity)
– Fluent in English speaking and writing.
